Lukas Hovee has 10 years’ experience in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy, including focusing specifically on building energy analysis for the last 8 years. Lukas’ passion for leveraging energy modeling and analysis in the ‘real world’ to inform design and evaluate performance led him to co-found 360 Analytics in 2010. Since then, he has completed numerous evaluations of new and existing building performance using a combination of field surveys, utility bill regression analysis, and energy modeling. He works closely with design teams and contractors to interpret and combine analysis results with detailed cost data to provide project specific, analysis driven and actionable guidance on reducing project utility costs and energy footprint.
In addition, Lukas is a member of the 2013 California Energy Commission (CEC) Nonresidential Technical Support Team. He has leveraged his extensive modeling experience to assist in the development of compliance modeling guidelines for the 2013 Title-24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards as well as the ASHRAE 90.1 Performance Rating Method, and is a key contributor to the open-source Standards compliance software, CBECC-Com.
Lukas is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with the Association of Energy Engineers, and holds an MS Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Washington.

David has focused on energy systems and analysis for the past ten years. David is passionate about helping clients make informed decisions on efficiency measures, providing unbiased recommendations for reducing costs while meeting sustainability goals, and expanding the use of actual performance data to inform the building analysis process.
In addition to consulting, he has played a significant role in development of the new 2013 California Nonresidential Alternative Compliance Manual (ACM), as well as new the open-source, California Building Energy Code Compliance (CBECC) software.
David's involvement in industry associations includes ASHRAE, as a member and SPC 209 sub-committee chair, and NFRC, as a certified simulator. David has 15 years of professional experience, including 8 years as a building analyst, and holds BS and MS of Mechanical Engineering degrees from the University of Washington, USA.
