Transitions MHA is the renovation of an existing retail/warehouse space into new energy-efficient offices for a local San Luis Obispo non-profit.  The design team committed to reducing energy consumption while meeting tight budget criteria.  T24-2005 compliance energy modeling results indicate the energy efficiency measures reduce energy consumption by nearly 30% and is anticipated to receive over $10,000 in PG&E utility incentives.  These measures also decreased the required HVAC cooling capacity by 20% (5 tons) resulting in first costs savings as well.
